Both beautiful shots. I love the sense of tenderness in the way he's holding it in the first and the wonderful expression on his face in the second... and the fact that those things add so much even though the focus is on the car... cool.
I am a working mom with 2 beautiful boys, Bradley is 5, and Connor is 1. This was the challenge - take a photo a day for a whole year! The first photo was taken on the 6th of June 2007, and I did it! And because I'm a sucker... and I'm actually enjoying the challenge... I'm continuing with it. I've finally got a DSLR, courtesy of my husband, so from the 31st of May 2008, all photos are taken with the Canon 350D. Before that, I used a Sony H5.

I love that closeup with the hands holding the truck. Your son is not only quite cute, he's also a master lego-builder. Good stuff.
Legos are awesome, aren't they? For adults and children alike.
I love that second shot too. He has such a look of joy and accomplishment on his face.
and the black swan from take one was gorgeous!
Very cool! I do know how much fun that is, too! He is the master, for now ;-)
These are fun shots...and I like that so far you've included a touch of satisfying red in your Project Black photos!
So fun! Lego's are such timeless pieces :) GReat shots!

Isn't Lego great?? We pulled out our 35-year-old box of Lego a little while ago. Hours of fun. Great photos - especially the DOF in the second one.
And I just noticed my blog on your sidebar... thanks! I'm so flattered!
