MUSCATINE, Iowa — The Muscatine Journal is preparing a commemorative section to coincide with the anniversary of the June 1, 2007, tornado that hit Muscatine and Louisa counties.
We are seeking help from our readers to produce the section, which will be published on Saturday, May 31.
Our goal is to compile a list, that is as comprehensive as possible, of everyone who sustained any degree of property damage from the storm.
We would also like your anecdotes and photos from the storm for possible inclusion in the section and online.
If you have stories to tell and photos to share, or if you want to be included in our list of storm victims, please send your name, contact information and stories and photos by Monday, May 19, to:
Chris Steinbach
