I have to admit it -- I'm a stat junkie. I love to check the stats on my blogs, and have always loved to check stats on websites that I have run.
Really, it's not about popularity or obsessive-compulsive behavior -- I just love looking at the numbers. I love watching for trends, seeing keyword searches, and how people end up on one of my sites.
Imagine my delight to recently see that Etsy has implemented a way to use Google Analytics for your Etsy shop! Love it!
Because I already have an Etsy shop and a Google Analytics account, I was able to set it up in no time at all. And, within 24 hours, I could view stats from my Etsy shop. How cool is that?
If you want to set it all up so you can be a stat junkie too, just get a Google Analytics account (if you don't have one already) and go to your Etsy shop login to find the "Web Analytics" link under "Shop Setup" and follow the directions. Easy peasy!
I'm already having fun watching my stats. Now, of course, I just need to work on filling my shop back up and stop having fun with stats.

Your WFMW subject really got my attention! I'm a stats freak myself AND an Etsy fanatic, so you can imagine my joy!
We haven't used Google Analytics before, but my husband was just talking about it today.

I have been enjoying being able to see stats for my Etsy shop. It was really easy to set up. I think you'll like Google Analytics.
I just set it up for my shop, an di'm loving it too. Woohoo!!
It's helpful to know what routes are bringing traffic in, so I can focus more energy there!

I love the Google Analytics. I love seeing how many people have visited my blog and etsy site each day.
I wish I could see the traffic source for each day. Say I had 70 visitors today then I would love to know how those 70 found me. Instead of it being all together. If anyone knows how to do this please email me via my blog.
