In this research 11 men drank either semi skimmed milk, the sportsdrink Powerade or water after an intensive workout session. The test subjects who drank the milk excreted less urine than the other test subjects. According to the researchers milk can replenish the shortage of moisture in your body and rehydrate you much faster than either a sportsdrink or water.
