It’s Friday again! My favorite day of the week. 
It’s been so cold and snowy here that I thought I’d ask something related to warm weather. Maybe that will help make me believe that Spring will be here at some point… LOL So, here is this week’s question for Aloha Friday:
When was the last time that you went to the beach, and where was it?
We actually never made it to the ‘big’ beach at Lake Michigan last summer. I’m amazed and embarrassed to admit that considering how close we live and how much I love the water. I am determined to get there are least once (hopefully more) this year. We did go to our little local beach here a few times last summer though, so the girls were able to get their fill of sand, sun and ’swimming’.

Aloha! The last time I was at the beach was in August ‘07 in Maui!

The last time I was at the beach was last summer in Seattle. I went there with my husband for a conference through his work and met up with one of my friends from grad school who lives there. She took me to her favorite beach. It was nice!

It feels weird to be saying this given the current weather patterns, but we didn’t make it to the beach much last summer because it was too hot. Can you believe that? We’ll try again this summer.

Beach? Oh, I was on the beach in Kauai, Hawaii two years ago. It was a trip for dh and me before we got pregnant with baby #2… little did we know that shortly after #2 there would be a #3! So glad we took the trip when we did because it doesn’t look like we’ll be able to go again anytime soon!
Maybe we’ll head down to FL this summer though with the oldest boy? Who knows. Thanks for the question, it’s nice to think about the beach on a cold, rainy, winter day like today!

I haven’t been to the beach since fall in 2001. In Laie, Hawaii with my brother and cousins.We have yet to take our kids to the beach. Hopefully this year sometime.

The last time we saw the beach was this fall in the Outer Banks, one of my favorite places to go. We were there over Thanksgiving, but it was sunny and in the high 70’s most of the week. I’m ready to go back, we have 4 inches of snow on the ground here:( C’mon spring!

We took the girls to the Florida Panhandle last summer. My dad has a condo about 30 minutes outside Pensacola and although it is not on the beach, it is on the intracoastal waterway and the pool over looks the water. We love it! We are planning to go again soon…hopefully in June. We all love the beach so much! We’re working toward the day when we can live part of the year in Florida.

Hummm, it would have been the west coast….I think it was about 4 years ago. Bob and I went camping at Pismo Beach. It’s about 3 hours north of LA. We had a blast!

The last time I went to the beach was my honeymoon last March. Yes, I will be celebrating my first anniversary this March! So exciting!!! Where was it? Australia!

We almost drove to Lake Michigan today; since the sun was out A.P. thought that it would be a nice beach day. I could NOT get him to understand that the snow, etc. would still be at the beach when we got there because he just couldn’t picture it. Come on, July!!
