Modeling agency SCAM!!!

Last February Mama was on Craigslist browsing around and found a job ad for me! Yippee! I was so happy because that was my dream job since I was 10 months old. They were looking for models to do all kinds of work in the modeling industry like magazine covers, movies, catalogues etc so, on a freezing and snowy Sunday, Mama, Dad and I went to the casting call. Upon arrival, we were told by the receptionist to fill out a form with our contact info and have a seat. The room was packed with all sorts of aspiring model woofies; some were tall and slim, others were chubby but, anyway everybody basically stood a chance of getting the job since the modeling agency stated in the ad that all looks, heights, and weights were welcome. Once we completed the form we handed it back to the receptionist who told us to wait about 20 mins for our turn. 20 minutes went by, and the room got more crowded, another 20, then another 20... finally after a little over an hour we were called to come in the interview room.

We sat down and the interviewer, a weird looking guy, started asking questions about Mama's availability to take me to bookings very early in the morning, on weekends or any day and time of the week. He wanted to make sure that I was well behaved and sweet(c'mon just look at me!) And so, after he asked all questions and explained to us how things worked and how I'd start getting some work, he asked me if I had a professional picture portfolio so he could show his clients in order for them to pick me for a job or not. Then we told him that I've never had any pictures taken in a studio and the pictures we had were good enough for his clients to look and make a decision to hire me or not.
Then "weirdo" insisted that with my pictures my chances of getting hired would decrease almost to zero and, if I wanted to increase my chances, I'd have to take professional pictures in the room next door for 200 dollars!!! What a rip-off! What a SCAM!! No wonder in the ad, they said they were looking for all types of woofies...
Anyone can be good enough to get ripped-off in one afternoon, right? NOT me!!!
He said I didn't need to do it, and that I should send him some pics by e-mail, but, of course, he would never want to hear from me again. What he wanted was to get money from all those unaware woofies and obviously only those who paid that fortune and fell prey to his promises of a brilliant modeling career, were the ones who might have gotten a few bookings.

We left that place really frustrated and thinking... We wasted our Sunday afternoon! Well, the only positive of this all was I got to socialize with other woofies a little bit.

After that bummer, I decided to go out knocking on doors and pursue my modeling career goals. Got lots of NO's but, I'm happy with my achievements. Now, "weirdo" and his SCAM team can definetely regret for the rest of their lives for not having given me a chance on the casting call after seeing me in the covers of the best magazines in the world.
SWEET revenge!!! I don't need those idiots to make my dreams come true anyway!
