Community Service Day — 6 a.m. — The Washington, D.C., Jewish Community Center (DCJCC) holds its annual December 25th Community Service Day, where 1,500 volunteers will choose between such projects as preparing and serving meals to the homeless, painting shelters, throwing parties for sick children, visiting seniors in nursing homes, distributing gifts to homeless shelters and donating blood.
