If you have seen the Pza. San Francisco videos and the galleries you probably guessed I was handling the Wiimote (Wii Remoto) in my live shows. I use it for tweaking in real time music parmeters.
As a PC user I wrote a GlovePIE script for having several modes to send different MIDI messages on each. So I achieved controlling miscelaneous effects with the same buttons and gestures.
Now that I switched to Mac, the GlovePIE does not work anymore so, what to do? I decided to adapt my script for the mac.
The program is written in Objective-C, based on the work of WiiToMidi and using the Wiimote.Framework (by the creator of DarwiinRemoto).
This is reall alpha software, it has implemented two of four of the modes though, I will not share yet. Thus the least I can do until I improve it to spread it for you to use it in your mac, is to leave a screenshot and to promise I will upload a video showing the stuff and sharing the source code.
