True, or Just True For You?

True or Just True for You?

For years Christians have been saying that certain things are true. Starting Sunday at Living Word's adult Christian education hour, we will see if they are.

For something to be true it has to be more than "true for you." The substance of the Christian faith is the embracing of truth, which I will define as "the way things really are." In a world that considers truth as relative (at best) or despotic (at worst), followers of Christ hold a most audacious truth: Not only does truth exist, truth is a person, the person of Jesus Christ (John 14:6).

To illustrate, we're talking about embracing the existence of ice cream, not a debate over the "best" flavor.

But in your hearts regard Christ hte Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you. -1 Peter 3:15

I will list the content of the class below.

Go serve your King, who Himself is truth!
