I was driving to the university today, and the freeway always takes about an hour to get to class--so I take a different route through a really old part of the city, and it takes only 15-30 minutes.

However... this morning, I realized I'd have to start taking the freeway now... damn storm!

No matter what they take from me
They can't take away my dignity

..mainly because I dispense with it myself, pretty much.

M-50 Ontos, self-propelled rifle

Oh man, now that is awesome.

Yeah, this was the coolest piece of armor they had on base.  Reminds me of the Destroid Monster :-)

According to its wiki entry, the ontos was very effective against infantry, but for some reason the brass decided to scrap the program.  Used only in 'Nam and only by the marines.  Definitely a mean looking little bastard.

That's what I'm talkin about. :-)

I think the distortion effect would have been better if I had a wide angle or fisheye lens... but oh well.  still a decent picture.

Cherry Blossom time in DC.  Actually, this is Maryland, but the flowers are still pretty!

Just playing with off-camera wireless flash.

Set the SB-600 to wireless flash mode, and triggered it with my Nikon D70s' popup flash. Flash dialed down to 1/32 power.
