Raw Food Diet for the Mind, Body, & Soul
Education July 9th, 2008The produce section of grocery stores is a foreign place full of strange food with weird names. Mention “Lychee” to an average person and you will get weird looks. It’s sad because this is the state of most of our society. The education of the actual food nature has provided us with has become unknown. It baffles me because I wonder - how did this happen?! We are in the information age of self-indulgence. We want things when we want them and want them to happen at our pleasure. We have forgotten self-awareness. Do yourself a favor - take a few deep breaths. Close your eyes and clear your mind. Slow down and re-orientate yourself.
Consuming a Raw Food Diet or on your journey to – your doing great things for your body. Nutrition for your body is vital but it’s also important to feed your mind & soul. Doing simple things like taking a few deep breaths during the day will help you relieve stress. It will help you understand that you’re not only doing great things for your body but your mind & soul as well. You’re one stop closer to nature and making a difference toward a healthier earth.

Ahhh, yes… Many people are confused by the produce department still. I get a few weird looks even if I’m eating a cucumber whole (like someone would a stalk of celery or a carrot stick). However, I see more and more people receptive to vegan and raw and it makes me so happy
Cheers,
