thoughts on new david banner album:

i think ive heard most of the really hot songs off the album months ago.

weird that he kept all these old songs on it.

that being said its good as fuck

    could have been leaner

    like 20 minute leaner

but about 80 percent of the album is fire

  19. eddypo Says:

yall got that n ew mike?

  20. Wit-E- Says:

i think its unfair to knock an album for having ‘old’ songs. artists dont have complete control ova the music and alot of the time arent the 1s who leak songs. are artists posed to just keep recording tracks since shit gets leaked early? a label only gives them a certain budget per album….

  22. TC Says:

    @ Wit

It depends the definition of “old.” If it’s something that appeared on an retail release earlier, yeah that’s a strike against the artist. But if the album got pushed back, then you have to make pardons

  23. Black Canseco Says:

    What’s for dinner?

    Hassenfeffer!

    Oh goody! What’s that?

    RRRRRRRRabbit!

That tub pic reminds me of bugs bunny stew.

  24. Black Canseco Says:

    Wahnning (inserts little kid lisp/teef-suck):

Tha’ surgin genewal of blooklin new yok has determined dat da sounds you about to hear can be debastating…. to, your, ears…

That TT Piecemaker is classic. and the kid at the beginning is hilarious!

  25. Black Canseco Says:

forte was nice on that Ali track.

If talent ranked, J-Forte should’ve been the 3rd Fugee over Pras in a landslide. It’s hard as heaven to find, but john forte’s “i, john” was a truly dope album–very common/black thought ish. Plus his “poly sci” debut was nice, too.

who knew that while 100bazillion guys was dry snitchin’ on wax and booth slanging that Forte was moving crazy, crazy, weight. so much so that the feds actually cuffed him with enough weed and yay to supply the tri-state area.

    any “i, john” links?

  26. Black Canseco Says:

freejohnforte.com - dude is still locked up.

  27. M.Z. Says:

Yeah Forte was the true definition of gangsters move in silence.

  28. The Whole Nine Says:

    Infernal Affairs FTMFW!!!

  29. Wit-E- Says:

i memba when forte got pinched. they had a long ass article/interview with him in some magazine…

and i agree TC, if a song has already been on a release, then it shouldnt be reused, but im tired of people complainin about ‘old’ songs just cuz they heard some leaks b4 the album dropped.

  30. complexone Says:

    David Banner sucks
