I Know Nobody Reads the Blog Anymore
Or at least that’s what people have been saying, but I wanted to address a couple of points.
- Zeke is NOT Bjorn the Houseboy–he is far too verbose. There is only one person in my very special American family that does the talking, and that person is moi. Who would’ve thought that Dullard Mush would be wistfully contemplating the mammoth void my recent silence has left in the Reno blogosphere? Not me surely. Clearly, I am needed here.
- I will be back on a regular basis very soon. Check back because you won’t want to miss my triumphant return on a date yet to be named in August. This campaign has been exhausting for all of us, but particularly me. Between defending Hillary Clinton from the likes of nutters like Chris Matthews and having to retrain Bjorn the Houseboy in order to maintain the harmony of my household, it was all too much. Sure, I could have given up completely, but where would that leave you? And Reno really? Clearly, I am needed here.
- And yes, I am aware of that Zeke has been writing diaries on Dkos without linking back to this site. Hello?! If there is anything sacred in the blogospehere, its linking back to the one that brung you. And there’s a little thing called SEO. But with new bloggers, all is forgiven. And everyone who posts on this site is doing me a favor–so thanks.
- So, this could be a little weird for everyone, but how about a second Reno Blogger Meet Up? At Sierra Tap House? Next week? What do you think?
Please don’t be alarmed if this site goes blank a couple of times in the next few weeks. I will be upgrading Wordpress at some point.

what do you mean, no one reads the blog? i read the blog, and the universe revolves around meeeeeeee (juuuuust kidding, couldn’t resist. warped from hearing fireworks whiz overhead in this neighborhood. it’s time for all these people to go to sleep, it’s after 1 o’clock in the morning here, for cryin’ out loud. i’m still up hoping that none land on my roof, like they did a couple of years ago…)
WordPress upgrade - i hear ya. supposedly the new one comes out on Monday. so far, sounds like security upgrades. the worst thing about WP upgrades is finding that a favorite plugin isn’t compatible anymore.

Is wordpress the “hip” place
to be now? Everytime I log in there, it asks “already hip?”
At least word press doesn’t jump the gun, when receiving
complaints, and disable blogs before actually checking out
the blog. (I hope.)
