At the beginning of 2008 the Art’s Council Of England’s music department withdrew the LMC’s funding leaving the organisation financially stranded and their future uncertain.Get a Haircut And Disappear: The London Musician’s Collective 1975 - 2008 pieces together the story of the LMC from a series of interviews with founding LMC members Clive Bell, David Toop, Steve Beresford and The Wire magazine’s Tony Herrington plus anecdotes from Sound 323 proprietor Mark Wastell and sound artist Helena Gough.
