House Pictures!

We had the new house inspected yesterday and I took the ole' camera along . . .

Front

Patio/Backyard

A Babbling Brook

Kitchen

Family Room

Sun Room

Master bedroom with P-Dawg

Basement "Wine Cellar"

Not pictured: living room/dining room with pink carpeting to be replaced ASAP, master bath with fugly floral wallpaper, and kidz bedrooms.

I won't believe it's really my home until all of our stuff is finally inside it and I'm chillin' in the sun room with my laptop and a glass of red.

Of course, all of our stuff will fill about one room. But no matter! Am looking forward to procurement of more stuff.

Next mission, if I choose to accept it, and I do: obsessive surfing of furniture and home decor websites.

I am a very happy girl.

holy hell girl, that house is uh-may-zing! I am sooo jealous now.

I never saw pictures of your yurt, so I can only assume it's a step up. Congrats!

Wow, Rima! Aren't you glad you hung in there and waited for the right one to come along?!

That garden is to DIE for. And the sunroom. Is that double closets in the master I'm seeing?

Very happy for you - now go. Surf.

From Rima hut to Rima manse (mansion). Those pics are incredible, and what a find. Well worth the wait, I'm sure.

Also, am so jealous over here.

You are going to be really happy with this house. What you pay in a mortgage now will be small in the future. It will increase in value. Financially, you will grow into the house. What a great place to live. I hope it makes you happy for a long time.

Love the sunroom and wine room basement.

See I told you that you'd find your dream home!

Now I want one... Is 9am to early for a glass of red?

The "wine cellar"!!!! You hadn't mentioned that tool of survival. But, I fell in love with all the greenery surrounding that cute house!

Doing a happy dance for you!

Oh boy. I'm afraid that if I posted pictures of my house, you and I might not be blogger buddies anymore. Your house might give my house the obligatory polite smile as it walked by and then talk about my flat ceilings and lackluster kitchen behind it's back. (sigh)

(Your new house is GORGEOUS! Enjoy!)

The house is beautiful, and the yard is gorgeous! I'm so happy for you. I hope you'll share more photos when you move in.

I'm guessing the inspection went well, if you posted these?

Your house is beautiful. I have always wanted one like that. I could even live with pink carpet and ugly wallpaper. You are very lucky!

Also, I can hook you up with the home decor. Just let me know.

OMG! What a gorgeous place to make a home (cuz a house is just a house but wow what a start!). I love the patio the best. Looks like plenty of room for all of us to gather. . . or live.

Congrats!

WOW! That is definitely worth the wait and all the stress. I heart your patio. Is this why mothers say "My dawtah married a doctah!!"?

Your master bedroom is as big as our whole house!! I love the pots in the garden - are they staying?? If they are post some close ups when you are in there so I can get some ideas.

It's beautiful - you don't fancy taking in a family of Brits for their summer vacation do you?
