RSSSnickerdoodle…It’s Even Fun to Say!!

I have to admit, it was my very first time…and I was sold on the first bite. I was at Les Amis des Fromage the other day and there they were, quietly sitting on the counter. “Oh, sweet sweet snickerdoodle, how I love you!” If you have ever had a snickerdoodle, I’m sure you know what I mean. I can still taste it (okay both of them and half of Joe’s, yes that makes 2 and a half). They are soft and buttery with just the perfect amount of cinnamon. Oh, how I wish I could sink my teeth into one right this very moment.
I loved everything about them, in fact, I think I love them more than I love chocolate chip cookies. Maybe it’s because they kind of look like the “underdog” of cookies. Even their name is kind of “geeky” …snickerdoodle, really…(OMG) - how cute is that.
Is there anyone out there that has a recipe for these cookies/muffin-top/cake/heavenly morsels? If so, I would be forever in your debt. I promise to make them and share them (at least most of them).
One of the first recipes that I got from you was Ganache of chocolate.
I think that it´s an esplendid recipe. I have prepared it several times as a gift for my friends´ birthdays. Everibody has enjoyed it so much and asked for a copy.
