Day for Life the day in the Churchs year dedicated to celebrating the sacredness of life will focus this year on the theme of mental health. It will help raise awareness of the needs of those affected by mental ill-health, their friends, their family and their carers, and the support that the parish community can bring. http://www.dayforlife.org

Lobby of Parliament on the HFE Bill

There will be a lobby of Parliament on the HFE Bill on 14th May. Those interested in speaking to their MP will need to make an appointment with him/her to meet at Parliament the Passion 4 Life group - http://www.passionforlife.org.uk/ - will provide specific briefings to help, and put on refreshments, provide literature and there will be speeches from and an opportunity to meet pro-life MPs.

The weather may be un-Spring-like this year with such an early Easter, but we know in our hearts that Christ is alive. That thought should warm us forever, opening the eyes of our hearts afresh to the beauty of our own lives and the wonders of creation. May the Risen Lord lift from your shoulders any worries or burdens that you carry and may the Easter message give you great joy and lasting peace.

Felixstowe CWL Lenten Hunger Lunches raised £740 to be shared between CAFOD and the Bishop's Appeals. Mon 14 April - Chocolate Chef. Opportunity for everyone to taste the chocolate. Yum! Sun 18 May after Mass at St. Felix, a cake stall in aid of the Bishop's Appeals will be open in the hall. Tues 10 June Orwell Connection concert in aid of St. Elizabeth's Hospice and other charities.
