(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - Detectives from the Portland Police Bureau Missing Persons Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating 32-year-old Heather Dawn Mallory.

On Friday, March 7th, Heather attended school and worked her entire shift. After work, she spent the night socializing with several friends and arrived home at about 7:30 AM, Saturday, March 8th. After she arrived home she became involved in an argument with her husband. Heather reportedly left home to avoid further confrontation and has not been seen or heard from since. Heather is married and the mother of one child.

Based on information obtained from family and friends, investigators believe it is highly unusual for Heather to remain out of contact. She has been described as professional and responsible in her work habits. Heather has no known history of mental illness or medical issues.

Investigators have confirmed that there has been no electronic activity on any of her accounts. At this time, detectives have no evidence of foul play.

Heather was reportedly driving a bright red 2001 Ford Focus bearing Oregon license 061BZX. There is a black-colored bike rack on top of the car and a child seat in the back seat. Heather is a 5’5”, 120 pound white female with blonde hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to call 9-1-1 or Detective Mike Weinstein at 503-823-0446.

It should be noted that there are no suspects of any kind because this young lady has not necessarily met with foul play. It is good to give it some time and see if she turns up, and I sincerely hope that she does. People are certainly entitled to throw out ideas here, and the suggestion by the above poster is a comment, please don't confuse it with being part of the actual article, thanks. The best thing anyone can do is to keep an eye out for Heather and hold a good thought for her in the meanwhile.

umm... the point of the article is to get the word out about a missing person, not to name "suspects"

Umm... isn't this girl's husband a suspect???
