Listed in the Carnival of Personal Finance #150
Our article, How Does a Short ETF Really Work?, was listed in the Carnival of Personal Finance #150. This is a large carnival listing with 115 links.
I completely agree with Todd’s post at Harvesting Dollars, Prepare For A Recession Or Job Loss With 2 Budgets. Like him, our budget spreadsheet has an expense column titled, “If we both lost our jobs.” Like Todd, I use that column to calculate the necessary size of our emergency fund.
Dorian Wales at The Personal Financier has a good post titled, How to Save Money by Analyzing Your Budget: 4 Basic Tools. Dorian talks about analyzing a budget to “spot trends, problems and opportunities and increase our financial efficiency.”
Andy at Saving to Invest has some great tips for shopping online in Save $29 in minutes. He has several good tips for finding discount codes.
There is a good Retirement Planning Checklist at My Money Plan. Madison made the list for her mom, who will retire soon, but it is a good list that everyone should read.
Mrs. Nesby has a pretty thorough list on Preparing for the Worst. She lists 7 steps to ensure that dependents are taken care of when you pass on. It’s a very important list for new parents.
There are a bunch of other great posts in the carnival, so please check it out.
