Save for using the album title in the post title.

Since everyone, their mother, and their chihuahua are losing their mind over the soon to be physically and not leakily released album from Ladytron, I figured, why not go back to the future, and check back in on some of their boss tracks from yore.

Ladytron - Seventeen
From the album Light and Magic
The second track off the duo's second album shook me and shocked me when I first heard it. A verifiable certainty to go on the boot knocking mix. 4 minutes and 38 seconds of raspily whispered bump and grinding.

Ladytron - Destroy Everything You Touch (Hot Chip Remix)
From the album The Witching Hour
Once again the second track (only this time on the group's third album) and coming in at an eerily similar 4 minutes and 36 seconds, DEYT is one of, if not, my favorite TronTrack of all time. The album released in 2005, still hadn't penetrated mainstream ears, but an EP of DEYT remixes released in 2007, included this version by indie-hip rockers Hot Chip and the single found new life, as well as a heavier thumping beat.

Ladytron - Discotraxx
From the album 604
Do we see a trend yet? This is purely coincidental. The second track off of Ladytron's debut studio album, 604, is one I can listen to on repeat without getting sick off. Now if someone could just translate that opening line for me, I'd be set for life.

Other select non new album tracks can be found on these EPs and compilations:
Miss Black and Her Friends
Softcore Jukebox
Extended Play

Reminder: Ladytron plays Terminal 5 on June 25 in NYC.
