this afghan rules. Apparently she used a single crochet for the large color blocks, then cross stitched on top for detail? I’ve never seen cross stitch with yarn over crochet…interesting.

i know it’s a bit late, but the ‘cross-stitching’ over crochet (or knit) stitches is called duplicate stitching!
i thought it was so weird when i first learned it too… 😉
