By default, Firefox reloads Live Bookmarks every 60 minutes. If this is not frequent enough for your needs, you can change the update rate by adding an unlisted preference to about:config.

1. Open Firefox 3.

2. In the Location Bar, input about:config.

3. Click to get past the warning message that appears.

4. Right-click anywhere in the Preferences listing.

5. Click on New and select Interger.

6. When prompted for the preference name, input the following:

browser.bookmarks.livemark_refresh_seconds

7. Click OK.

8. When prompted to Enter integer value input the desired update rate in seconds (for example 2 minutes would be input as 120).

9. Click OK.
