The RIM Blackberry’s first attempt of producing a clam shell phone, the Kickstart, would have got many of you excited. It’s time to learn more about what the Kicktstart has to offer.
The Kickstart will be launched by T-mobile, carrying a T-mobile branding. More details about the Kickstart clamshell have surfaced. The Kickstart will feature a monochromatic screen with a color glow. The back battery cover will either be a soft-touch rubberized finish or a low gross finish.
The Kickstart will carry a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM radio, with EDGE/GPRS support, equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, supports wireless connectivity of wireless B and G. The SureType keyboard is the next generation version which carries double-letter for its keys. The phone comes with a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The two displays, the internal will be a QVGA 240×320 LCD, whereas the external will be a 160 x 128 LCD. The Kickstart will run the Blackberry OS version 4.6.
About the release date? It’s most likely aimed to be released September this year.
