Mini-Me had like a week or two before Miss La-Di-Da-Di, but never brought any of her artwork home.  Miss La-Di-Da-Di did, and here's one of her masterpieces.  She loves art and says she wants to be an artist. My dad served for 22 years before retiring November 1983. When Steve and I were in Hawaii, one of the things I knew that I wanted to do was see the USS Arizona Memorial. When you visit this place you can't help but FEEL. There are many visitors every year, and no matter how many people are standing in the memorial, there is almost always complete silence. As I waited for Steve and the kids to come back from visiting the old school house, I sat on a bench and began to write.  It's not that great, but I try. :)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;The Old School House&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;The old school house nestled between the trees&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;I hear the birds chirp a sweet melody&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;As the warm afternoon sun beats down on my skin&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;The breeze dances softly around me and begins&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;Its fluid movement through the grass and leaves&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;To the sweet music singing that spring is almost near&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;And there I see the children laugh and play&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;On this warm, sunny day.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left; color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;Here are the kids in front of the old school house.
