MPs Vote For Below Inflaton Pay Rise - Blogosphere In Shock
It’s amazing. MPs have voted against awarding themselves an above-inflation pay rise.
And yet I haven’t seen a single blog post on this piece of news by any non-journalist come through my RSS reader.
The blogosphere must be in shock.

Yes and no. Sure they voted now for a below inflation pay rise, to avoid the flack from the media.
However they are already paid far to much for doing far to little, with far more perks than the rest of us could ever imagine being able to get.
When they accept a pay cut to reflect the 70%+ of our laws, rules and regulations that now come in from Euroland I shall start to believe that MP’s are actually worth something.
I put their fiscal value in real terms at around 1p.
