That was an April Fools’ Joke!
Dear readers,
Thank you for all your emails, but that was an April Fools’ joke! It was my mistake that I made earlier versions of that post a bit too realistic. Sorry! I feel like an absolute caveman now.
You know I don’t clutter up my blog with little posts like this, but just in case, here’s one: Please come back! I’m not really closing my blog!
I’ve had quite a few emails from those who were subscribed to my RSS feed, which contained an older, more realistic version of the joke, and really believed me. I have since then changed the online version to make it more obvious I was playing, but I can’t change the emails that were sent out.
Another point that was a bit misunderstood: I will still be posting as much as I can, I’m not disappearing for the next few weeks. I will just be slowing down, perhaps a post every 5-6 days instead 3-4 like I aimed for in the past.
Finally, some tips and guidelines if you want to be a guest blogger!
Thank you everyone for your continued support. If you know anyone who’s left because they think I’m gone, please give me a hand by letting them know I’m still here.

Hey Caveman!
As I commented yesterday, you had me at first, but then I realized you weren’t possibly going to be a stripper! Well, maybe you would do something that half-baked, but I doubt it. I loved the joke. I’m going to mark my calendar for next year: “Don’t believe any blog posts on April 1.”

Ya know, Albert, I was eternally grateful for the original post, as it was. It did wonders for me! I never once thought you were serious about any of it. Leaving me assured that my good sense and my sense of humor are all in tact. That’s really a good feeling because I’ve had my doubts at times that I might never regain their use. Thank you for what you bring here, give to me and obviously so many concerned others at losing you.

But… But… You looked so good as Cherry Blossom! Maybe you could fit the stripping in around your blog posts? Everyone needs to let off steam! #8-D
Hope nobody’s really dropped your blog because of the joke - it’d be a shame for people to miss out.

If your a caveman, what does that make me? I had an email all composed requesting an autographed photo and everything! Seriously, I have not been able to smile in way too long, much less out right laugh. I can’t thank you enough and between you, me and the fence post, your onto something when you say life is a bright mess! I printed that part out and put it on the fridge.

Heheh! Thank you everyone, you guys really made me chuckle! Although Cherry is actually still available…for the right price
Apologies for the delay in reply as well, Melbourne was recently hit with a massive power outage from the damage caused by strong winds. I’m really a monk now, living by candlelight at night and using internet cafes for my email.

I am the most gullible person on this planet. I also fell for Problogger, 4HWW, and Daily Blog Tips. I knew it was April 1st, but I still wasn’t catching on.
I guess there is a bright spot to my gullibleness - I’m a trust worthy person.
I’m glad you are not pulling back and I’ll would like to be a guest blogger, so I’ll send something your way when I think it fits your reader’s interest.

I fell for too many april fools this year… But yours wasn’t one of them! I guess that was because I saw this post before the jokey one. I’m glad I did, I guess I would have believed you.
Well, lesson learned. Great humour
