For the second consecutive month Clickbooth was my top performing affiliate ad. While I made more money setting up WordPress for free and receiving the commission from Bluehost in return as payment, that was unrelated to actual ad clicks. I also made a substantial amount selling Entrecard credits back to Entrecard. Both these revenue sources are excluded from the following table. Here is a breakdown of June’s ad income.
| Ad Name | Affiliate | Commissions |
| Newegg | Commission Junction | $10.54 |
| Adsense | Google Adsense | $13.29 |
| Search | Google Adsense | $4.59 |
| Bidvertiser | Bidvertiser | $.83 |
| eBay | eBay Partner Network | $2.23 |
| Konterra | Konterra | $1.36 |
| P.W. | Project Wonderful | $13.20 |
| Clickbooth | Clickbooth | $70.00 |
Why did Clickbooth outperform the others? Probably because they are my favorite network at the moment. Besides the 3 rotating ad boxes on turnipofpower.com, I run their ads through Project Wonderful and through Adtoll as well. Signing people up for their network is something I can do in good consciousness. While I may not approve every ad on their network, that decision is left up to each individual webmaster once they sign up. I have now received 2 checks in the mail from them. They always pay on time and are up front with their reporting. Below is an actual screenshot of the Clickbooth report screen I see when I log in:

Last month I mentioned Clickbooth had their own twitter page. Twitter is great for receiving the latest network updates and additions. They also give info on how to qualify for occasional bonus contests. For those who don’t use twitter, or would like to read about things in detail there is also the Clickbooth Blog.
The Clickbooth blog differs from their website in that it contains useful articles related to the company in general. I really like their article Tips to get your pub account approval in record speed! Remember, the more people accepted means the more I get paid. I hate to see a potential profit opportunity lost because some important part of the signup process was skipped. Did you know you don’t even need a website to signup? You can use email, direct marketing, AdWords, or other ideas you may have. Be sure to enter this info into the “comments” section of the application.
I see the Clickbooth Blog is powered by WordPress, though I doubt they will answer your WordPress questions. However, they will help you with your marketing. You will be assigned an affiliate manager and that person will answer your questions, discuss your ideas, and give you suggestions. They are there the moment you ask a question or need help, otherwise they don’t bother you. I have my contact’s AIM, Email, and even his phone number if it’s urgent.
So far I’ve only contacted my affiliate manger twice. Both times I had an answer returned promptly. Once I asked some general questions about the network. The second time I created my own ad in Photoshop, and ran it by the affiliate manager first to get approval. He was always happy to be of assistance. If you are clueless on how to monetize your site, perhaps ask your manager for their opinion. Clickbooth sees communication as a key to their success, and your success.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a Trackback **********It’s great that you are doing so well with Clickbooth. I assume that’s a combination of affiliates and ad clicks? I joined them about two weeks ago but i haven’t put any ads up yet. I’ve been experimenting with a few other networks though. You might want to try Chitika I’ve done quite well with them in the last two months.
BTW just so you know it’s against Google Adsense TOS to say exactly what you make I believe. You might want to check on that and maybe just round out the figure to be on the safe side.
Tricia, I thought the rules forbid revealing how much you earned for each particular ad or or per click, including the click through rate. According to their TOS: “However, You may accurately disclose the amount of Google’s gross payments to You pursuant to the Program.”
I do vary my ad programs often to see what’s hot and what’s not. I’ve tried shopping widgets before and have never done well with them.
The clickbooth figure is purely from Referrals. I’ve only recently begun running their other ads. I divide my site traffic into two types of people. Searchers/friends and Inbox People. When someone comes to my site from EC, they see a clickbooth ad in the top left, and an Adsense ad next to the Entrecard. When people come from anywhere else, that is reversed.
Hmm… Maybe I go back to PW. My ads suck.
You got some nice monthly online earnings there, I’m envious!
After reading this post of yours made me wanna check out click booth.
Thanks for sharing!
Hey,
I just posted about the new Entrecard contest of which you are a sponsor. Be sure to check it out.
I think I’ll checkout Click Booth as well. Congrats on the good month. May they keep coming.
Clickbooth is great, ive made a lot with them as well, Especially with the referral program :D.
I’ve made almost $200 from them, mostly from referrals. I just started advertising some of their offers. It starting off slowly, but at $1.25 each, they add up quickly.
