Richard St. John found personal success as the founder of the St. John Group, his marketing company that made millions representing clients such as Nortel and Blackberry. But he wanted to answer a simple question Why me? Entrepreneurs might find this short clip handy. It will remind you what it takes to make it big. So why him? Mr. St. John doesn’t consider himself smart or too good looking. He wasn’t a brilliant student at school and he’s not particularly lucky. To answer the question, Richard St. John spent over a decade interviewing over 500 people he defines as ‘successful’ – ranging from celebrity architect Frank Gehry to the average Joe. The result is the moving video below – So, what makes people successful in eight words?The answer is Passion, Work, Good, Focus, Push, Serve, Ideas and Persisting.
