It seem the NAS for the Scanner Server fell over and died in spectacular fashion and the disks in it got fried by the PSU blowing both the disks in it.. The service will be down for a few days while a replacement is sourced, it may not be back before the Trip to Vegas for Defcon on Thursday however.
