JAZZ from the Belly of the BLUES

Join us for a gallery reception on Thursday, August 7 from 6 - 8 PM.
Entertainment, refreshments, and discussion in the WBGO performance studio. Musical guests the Nick Rolfe duo perform, and meet artist Doris Price, as she discusses her latest works.

As a long time painter/printmaker, Price has explored many interests and mediums. During the last three decades, reminiscences and independent studies have led her observe the partnering of jazz and the American way of life and ultimately to JAZZ from the Belly of the BLUES.

Price's works are in the collections of the Apex Museum, in Atlanta, GA; Delaware State University and York College in New York to name a few.

Visitors may view the exhibit during the week, Mon – Fri, from 9 AM to 5 PM until Friday, August 8.
