ALABAMA
At 8 o’clock tonight, showers continued mainly over Extreme North and NE Alabama. They were light to moderate. Earlier there were some heavy showers mixed in. They were moving east.

Some more showers over SW Alabama.

A big part of West Central Alabama was getting a break from the rain. Places like Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Fayette, Greensboro and Livingston. That break in showers may last for hours.

Here in Central Alabama our main showers and thunderstorms will be tomorrow. All of Alabama is under a “slight risk” of severe weather tomorrow according to the NWS Storm Prediction Center.

Is there a time frame for when these storms may be coming through?

    Hey JB:

It’s REALLY storming here in NW Mobile county where I work. I’m estimating about 2″ of rain in the past hour. Vivid lightning and high winds. Looks like more off to the west. I see T-Storm and Tornado warnings in SE Mississippi. Fun day.
