Bogle Vineyards Petite Sirah Estate Bottled(2005)

On the nose, luscious boysenberry teases you along with touches of black pepper and herbs. Trademark inky and jammy tones fill the mouth with ripe fruit and berries. The voluptuous finish lingers with toasty oak and lush fruit. The firm tannins make this a wine that can develop for years to come, but you won't want to wait that long to enjoy it! Try this unique wine with rich meat dishes of lamb, pork or game and their hearty sauces.

Deep black-purple in color with aromas of blueberry, boysenberry and fennel. Rich and soft in the mouth with blueberry and black pepper flavors finishing with soft, dusty tannins. A nice value for less than $10.

Considering the price you pay, this is a fabulous wine! A very pleasing aroma of red fruit and "dusty" plum is mouthwatering. The flavor is smooth and integrated. It has a good dense berry taste. The tannin comes out a bit in the lingering finish. This is a great bargain steak wine.

Well behaved, compact flavor. Very sweet with a slight bitterness. Pleasant light finish, but I'm tasting a slight chemical flavor. But I might just be going crazy.
