Alexandria, VA (WUSA) - Four telephone poles were taken down by a tractor trailer in the 7500 block of Fordson Road in Fairfax County this afternoon.
Officials with Fairfax County Fire and Rescue tell 9 NEWS NOW the incident occured just before 1 p.m. in the 7500 block of Fordson Road. The accident brought down two telephone poles and caused two more to list.
The driver is now out of the vehicle but was trapped for a short time when he thought the wires down were power lines.
At this time there is no word on what may have caused the accident.
