Days On End
26 June 2008 | 317 ViewsThe BN supreme council has issued SAPP a show cause letter that gives the party 30 days to explain its recent actions.
30 days? Is that some standard shit or is that trying to buy time?
My wife doesn’t give me that long to explain my actions.
I bet that if SAPP faxed its reply in the next 5 minutes, it would still take 30 days to reach the supreme council.
Then they’ll take another 30 days to convene a meeting, and 30 more before they announce their decision, which SAPP would have 30 days to appeal against, and if they do file an appeal, it would again take 30 days to convene another supreme council meeting, and another 30 before the decision is announced, by which time Anwar has not gotten his Malaysia Day government, Pak Lah has retained the Umno presidency, and Yong Teck Lee has either been on his knees begging for mercy or is behind bars.
The coming days are gonna be so exciting.

Like it or not, Dr Yong already stick out his head.
He either follow through and get others to join him in it or like aisehman said, be prepared for retribution or jail.
There is obviously 1 choice.

30 days is to kick the ball BACK to yong’s court. i think BN wants SAPP to b the first to blink - to say “WE QUIT BN”, rather than having to sack them.
remember BN was too nervous to sack SAPP when yong first broke the news, n said that “we’ll wait until SAPP AS A PARTY clarifies its stand first”?? then, after SAPP AS A PARTY HAS clarified its stand, they now kick the ball BACK to SAPP to say “i give u 30 days, explain please.”
wonder what BN is worried about, such a tiny mosquito party with only 2 MPs… just sack them lah!!
OTOH, what the hell is yong thinking right now?? said they’ll move the motion, but have been silent for the entire week… what’s going on?? changed their mind???
it seems that BOTH SIDES r equally PATHETIC.
