This is pretty big, so I have to write about it. The munchkin just came up to me and said, “Eep, Mummy, eep!” and was pointing to his room. I was a bit confused for a minute because sometimes the half-words and the tiny voice, they don’t always make sense, especially when you’re distracted with six bajillion other things.
I said, “What do you want?”
“Eep!”
Then the light dawned, “Oh, you want to go to bed?”
“Uh-huh, yeah, a-bed. Peez?”
I looked at the clock, just after 8 p.m. His bed time averages around 8:30, but he was up early this morning because yesterday he went down for a nap at 4:30 p.m. and didn’t wake up again until my husband got home at 5 a.m.
So, I said, “Okay, go say na-night to Daddy then.”
He calls up stairs, “A-bye!” and dashes into his room scooping up one of his blankies on the way, and starts trying to climb into his crib. Laid down with a fuss at all. Wow…I wonder how often that’s going to happen again.

ROFL~! Gotta love it when they do that. My 9 year old will go to bed and not even say goodnight sometimes. He likes to sleep!

Hopefully he’ll be like that when he’s older. I see the fun some of my friends have with their children at bed time, and we have fun with the munchkin most of the time. Ah, well…he’s got time yet, he’s not even two.
