In addition to this morning's Mac Pro updates, no pre-Macworld pro announcement would be complete without new Xserves. Apple also introduced its new dual Quad-Core (up to) 3.0 GHz Intel Xeon 5400 Xserves today, which is, of course, 1U rack-optimized and "the most powerful Apple server ever." It, too, has two PCI Express 2.0 slots along with up to 3TB of internal storage with a plethora of other bumped options.
