Mataram (ANTARA News) - West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province is to host a joint international meeting between Indonesia and Malaysia, provincial administration spokesman Ibnu Salim said here on Saturday.

He said the meeting would be held at Senggigi tourist resort in West Lombok from February 19 to 21, 2007, and participated in by more than 100 delegates.

According to him, 24 participants from the Home Affairs Ministry, 27 from Malaysia and the rest would act as observers.

Ibnu Salim added that West Nusa Tenggara was chosen to host the 32nd Joint Indonesia-Malaysia meeting in an effort to promote the construction of Lombok International Airport (BIL) in Central Lombok and other development projects in the province.

"Therefore, various development activities between the two countries, including investment, will be discussed at the meeting," Ibnu Salim said.(*)
