Hanoi - A US$1.3 billion entertainment complex will be built by the US company Good Choice in the Bau Trung area of the southern coastal city of Vung Tau. The project is the largest of eight new projects, including four foreign-invested projects, approved yesterday by the Ba Ria-Vung Tau People's Committee.
The eight projects are worth a combined US$1.57 billion and are the first to be licensed this year in the southern province.
Other foreign-invested projects include a $120 million five-star hotel and apartment project by Hong Kong's San Shing Ltd Co, a $42.7 million commercial centre by South Korea's Byzatine Ltd Co and a $2.8 million project by US company Galatea to cultivate oysters for pearls.
