Jakarta, (ANTARA News)- Alicia Keys of the US Diva R&B will give a concert in Jakarta`s Convention Center on July 31 during a tour entitled "Alicia Keys As I Am World Tour 2008".
The show of the US singer who was born on January 25, 1980 will be conducted in cooperation between a Mild Live Production and Rini Noor Production (RNP) which had previously sponsored the Duran-Duran concert in Jakarta on April 8, a spokesman said here on June 7.
Toni Darusman, a Mild manager said Alicia Keys is a creative, smart, innovative and unique figure in running a career as shown after making the first album of Songs in a Minor in 2001.
"We hope music lovers in Indonesia can feel a spirit as Alicia Keys has. Hopefully, by having such spirit, the music lovers can become our partners to help develop Indonesian music," he said.
In the meantime, Rinny Noor of RNP expressed her readiness to welcome Alicia Keys.
Tickets for the concert which would cost from Rp750,000 to Rp3 million will be available starting this June, Rinny said.
