Los Angeles (ANTARA News) - Michael Jackson's reported comeback may have to wait.
The former king of pop could be in serious medical trouble after pictures of him emerged being pushed around in a wheelchair on a Las Vegas shopping trip.
"He looks really frail," Mike Lopez, the photographer who took the shocking pictures, was quoted by DPA as telling the New York Daily News Friday.
"His skin was peeling and he looks so thin and gaunt."
Jackson, 49, was accompanied on the two-hour spree by his three children Prince I, Paris and Prince II. He was wearing pyjamas, a surgical mask over his face, black scarf and a baseball cap.
The photos came following reports that Jackson has been working on a new recording and is in negotiations for a comeback show in Las Vegas.
He recently avoided foreclosure on his extravagant Neverland Ranch in California, but has not lived there since being acquitted of child molestation charges three years ago.
