OPIATE FOR THE MASSES: New Audio Interview Posted Online - July 9, 2008
Los Angeles industrial rock act OPIATE FOR THE MASSES was interviewed by Cagerattle.com yesterday (Tuesday, July 8). The chat is now available for streaming at this location.

OPIATE FOR THE MASSES will take part in a signing session at Zia Records (105 W. University Drive) in Tempe, Arizona on July 11 at 3:00 p.m. A limited amount of customers who purchase the band's new album, "Manifesto", at Zia that day will receive a VIP laminate to hang out with OPIATE FOR THE MASSES at their show with 10 YEARS and FILTER that night at Tempe Marketplace.

"Burn You Down", the new video from OPIATE FOR THE MASSES, can be viewed below (courtesy of Woozyfly.com). The clip was shot in Burbank, California with director David Brodsky (HELMET, ALL AMERICAN REJECTS, THE RED CHORD, 12 TRIBES). The track comes off "Manifesto", which was released on July 8 via Century Media Records.

OPIATE FOR THE MASSES created a solid buzz and diehard fanbase with its self-produced debut album, "The Spore", backed by a slew of major tours alongside AVENGED SEVENFOLD, DISTURBED, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE and STATIC-X, among countless others. They were also a featured act on the inaugural Taste of Chaos tour.

How many fookin times is that drummer gonna twirl his drumstick, in that video? Someone must have just taught him how to do that, prior to the shooting of the video.

Oh and the song, and band, are majorly weak. My opinion.
