When Repetitive Deleting is just not enough..
In the world of social networking, I find the positives from my business experience, far outweigh the inconveniences. People for the most part are excellent in the notion of win win business and respectful networking.
Cheers to those who are upfront in their expectations, and care enough about their community to give those who make a communications error, the grace and awareness to correct it. These folks are acting on a genuine belief that if most people's intentions are good, then being open enough to communicate expectations is win win as well. In this newsletter we will cover some of the strategies you can use when someone is not respecting your wishes for your mutual networking.
Respecting the groups you are a member of, here are some guidelines that will help you be a good citizen of social networking.
- Don't Spam your Groups or make it easy for spammers to use your email contacts.
- Don't Stay Connected to Spammers who refuse to recognize your networking big rules.
- Don't allow Spammers who misuse the intended value of a community network to continue.
- Do let your friends know the tips of how to get the most out of positive win win networking.
How to make corrections when necessary. When you find someone unwilling to extend the respect and courtesy your network would consider reasonable, sometimes it becomes necessary to take actions to remove that connection, rather than trying to pursuade them to change or respect your wishes to disengage.
