Now is the time of year where you have to keep an eye on suspensions due to yellow card accumulation. If you took my advice last week and started looking at Houston players, I hope you passed on Dwayne DeRosario. Houston is on bye two of the next three weeks, and the game in between, DeRo will be suspended.

Olympic group play runs through August 13th, so they are out at least two more MFLS weeks.

Lastly, there are lots of rumors going around now that the transfer widow is open. Edson Buddle, Kenny Cooper and other have been rumored to be on their way out. Keep an eye out for when these go through if you have one of these players on your roster.

RevMFLS Cup Update
In the RevMFLS Cup Finals, The JoeMan Clan came back in leg two to take the title.

Play-in round for the Revolution Supporters Cup begins this week, with group play starting the following week.

Tip of the Week
Toronto is coming off a tough loss in RSL, where no one but the Royals can win this season. Dallas is coming off a 4-0 thrashing of the Gals. I still expect the Reds to turn it around at home, where they also are undefeated, and for the Hoops to come back to earth. I’ve got Brennan and Guevara, and they both are in my starting lineup.
