It took nearly seven weeks for the Red Sox [team stats] to incur their first rainout of the season, but last night’s postponement at Fenway Park [map] left them trying to piece together a mismatched puzzle for the makeup game with the Milwaukee Brewers due to national television commitments and exclusivity rights.

The game was rescheduled for tonight at 8:35 (NESN) as the back end of a late-starting, separate-admission doubleheader. Tickets for last night’s game will be honored tonight, with the original May 17 tickets still good for the first game at 3:55 p.m. (Ch. 25).
