iSold It
When our son left for college it was a hard transition for me. I was used to having a kid going in and out with all kinds of activities happening. The one good thing about kids leaving home is that it frees up a room for crafts. I am trying to look at the positive side. Bear with me.
Our bedrooms are not very big and so Greg’s room was packed with furniture. We didn’t know what we were going to do with everything. Not all of his things would be going to his apartment. That is when I came across a wonderful website that was going to change the way I felt about empty nesting. iSold It is a great sevice that allows me to drop off items to list on ebay. I didn’t have to list my things myself and hope they would sell. I was given help with the way to list the item. They gave me suggestions for keywords that would make my item popup quickly when someone was looking for that type of item. I am not comfortable having people over to my house to look at items I want to sell. You never know what kind of kooks might show up. I love iSold It. Their staff is experienced and can help me decide what amount to ask for my item. They go through a list to check my item in and then give me a receipt. They get onto the business of listing the item on ebay with a picture.
After the item is sold, they take care of shipping it to the buyer. I think that is the most awesome thing I ever heard. I don’t have to deal with finding a box and a shipper to get the item where it needs to go. Hurrah! Once the transaction is complete, I get paid. Done deal. Easy peasy!
You can see the collection of books we were able to find homes for.
