What are the Right Words to Say?
Last night, I was THIS close to making an irreversible mistake. I had just received an SMS and even though I had not thought of the reply yet, I could have typed out words as dark as my mood at the moment.
I decided to sit back and ponder what my reply should be. I was in the bus, at the Yong Peng Rest Stop. When I looked up from the phone my attention was gripped by a word I saw on the roof of the neighboring bus.
I stared at the word, my jaw agaped, my back straight as an iron rod. Let me show you what I saw…

Do you see that? 4 letters that spells SALT.
God have taught us through the Bible in Colossians 4:6 “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.”
Salt is the seasoning that makes every dish flavorful, and God says our speech should be seasoned with salt. I am so thankful that even when I am far from thinking of saying the right words or being in the right mood, God remains a faithful God.
I knew then that the darkness of my mood have displeased Him and I had to ask for forgiveness again.
