Pineapple Express Trailer

This is impressive! This new trailer for Pineapple Express is the official sober no-smoking, no-drinking, no-violence version of the same trailer that we debuted back in January. Why I'm amazed is that it still looks just as good (if not better) without any of that good stuff that we all love. Bravo trailer editor! Back on topic - this is going to be one hell of an awesome summer hit, and I mean bong hit. Were we talking about movies? I got hungry…

Apatow and his team have another guaranteed hit in the works with Pineapple Express. And when it does eventually hit theaters, make sure you stock up on munchies and candy and popcorn and Lucky Charms and White Castle burgers before.

Pineapple Express is directed by David Gordon Green (of Snow Angels, Undertow, All the Real Girls) and written by the trio of Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Judd Apatow (naturally). Express follows Rogen and Franco as they get stoned, run from cops, crash cars and fire guns. No further explanation needed. The stoner revival begins this summer on August 8th.

this is much better- shows that there's some substance to the film..a chase! cat & mouse! and a splash of "herbs". So, NOW I think I may check this film out. thanks Alex

Potheads usually bug the sh!t outta me b/c I'm your typical stressed out, tense alcoholic a$$hole but this looks really funny. I could see laughing at this but at what cost? $10 per ticket? I don't know.

Okay, I really disliked "Superbad" with the exception of McLovin. However, this movie looks to be hilarious. Takes the 'running from the bad guys' premise and just turns it into something ridiculous and crazy.

Really disliked Superbad? That has to be punishible by execution... Anyhow... This movie should rank up there with the instant classics SUPERBAD, 40 Year old, etc. It brings back the epic weed flicks genre Cheech and Chong pioneered. I already forgot what the trailer looks like though... weird. I'll watch again.

C-young, I grew up in the 80s when the *real* classic teen films were made. "Superbad" was just a very weak copy of better films. Seth Rogen admits to writing this screenplay when he was 13 or 14, and it's obvious. I had no sympathy for either main character. So I didn't care what happened to them or what they were doing in the movie. It seemed to go for the rude joke when it really didn't fit into the overall story it was trying to tell. Eh, I'm a 30-something mom of two. My tastes are much different than the target audience.

Song is Paper Airplanes by M.I.A., which uses an immediately identifiable sample of 'Straight to Hell' by the Clash. Does this mean all the girls that have crushes on Franco are going to become potheads now, too? This man might be capable of bringing about an entire 60's resurgence, single-handedly if that happens. Rogen's funny- just hope he loses the tie. No believably high person can wear a tie for more than 5 minutes w/out getting "all stuffy"... That's not a compliment.

ok so i saw it opening night and was blzed the whole fucking time, we smoked in the bathroom so i even missed parts, but i think my favorite part was bill hader at the very beginning, with his jazz beat-boxing. but Jazz does not have a beat so was he melody-making? don't know but it was funny as fuck.
