X-Files: I Want to Believe TV Spot

What is it with all the movies on July 25th not getting the attention that they deserve?! Maybe it's because Comic-Con is also taking place that weekend and at least 120,000 fans aren't going to give a crap about Step Brothers or X-Files. To show some support for The X-Files: I Want to Believe, I've decided to feature a new TV spot today to get more of you in the mood for the return of this series. This is my favorite of the three new TV spots that hit (you can see the other two over on xfiles.com). I think it's one of the scariest TV spots, which is exactly what I need to finally get excited to see The X-Files: I Want to Believe myself. Nothing you've seen, nothing you've experienced, can prepare you for the truth.

Watch the "Experienced" TV spot for The X-Files: I Want to Believe:

The X-Files: I Want to Believe is a stand-alone story in the tradition of some of the show's most acclaimed and beloved episodes, and takes the complicated relationship between Fox Mulder (Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Anderson) in unexpected directions. Mulder continues his unshakable quest for the truth, and Scully, the passionate, ferociously intelligent physician, remains inextricably tied to Mulder's pursuits.

The X-Files: I Want to Believe is directed by X-Files creator Chris Carter and co-written by both Carter and show regular Frank Spotnitz. The film returns after a six year hiatus following the series' finale in May of 2002. The X-Files: I Want to Believe arrives in theaters this summer on July 25th. Believe!

Thanks for this, and ALL of the trailers make me want to go and see this. In fact every single iota of information makes me want to go and see it about a million times. I really can't wait and after the night that the fans have had online(hint: MAJOR SPOILER LEAKAGE) I actually don't think it's possible for me to be more excited. Please keep up the coverage, there's loads of us dying for the movie! We're not all people who like posting negative comments on sites about movies they don't care about (Shero, *cough*) 2 FREAKIN' WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually want to see BOTH X-Files and Step Brothers, but Mulder and Scully take preference. Can't wait to see it.

why is it so important that they need to explain themselves to you? they dont have to justify anything to you. so they want to see this movie. why does it bother you so much? it interests them. if it doesnt interest you then thats fine, but dont criticize others because their opinions dont match yours.
