Griffin iTrip Pocket FM transmitter now shipping

Griffin Technology has announced that its iTrip Pocket FM transmitter is now shipping. The small device, designed to fit the bottom of the second-generation iPod nano, features a forward-backward frequency button, three buttons for user-defined preset stations, and a small plastic cover to protect the Dock Connector when not in use. It also makes use of SmartDisplay Technology to show frequency information directly on the screen of the iPod. The iTrip Pocket is compatible with fourth- and fifth-generation iPods and first-generation iPod nanos, and sells for $50. Learn more about the iTrip Pocket in our First Look article.

I’ve saw this at Best Buy a week and a half ago! Griffin needs to do their press releases when they actually start shipping their products.

Hey MacGeek Pro - I’d rather they did it this way than the way they did for the TuneCenter - announce and take pre-orders for both wired and wireless versions - over a year later, I’m still waiting for the wireless version I pre-ordered to get out of development and start shipping!!

i have purchased a itrip fm transmitter which uses the dock connector. i am unable to use it. it powers on when i play any song and i can also set the fm frequency in the itrip fm transmitter but i dont get any option for the radio in my ipod classic 80GB. can anyone let me know whether i need any other device to listen to radio on my ipod or the procedure to listen to radio on my ipod classic using this itrip fm transmitter.
