Add a Twitter Icon to your Blog
Douglas Karr at 2:08 pmI don’t spend as much time as I’d like to on Twitter, but it really has established itself as a great tool - with many different uses. One of those uses for me is utilizing it to announce my posts automatically so any of my followers know when I’ve published on my blog. It’s automated utilizing the Twitter Updater Plugin for WordPress.
It’s gotten so mainstream that I decided to add it to my collection of Feed, Email and Mobile icons in my sidebar. Try as I might to find an icon, though, I didn’t come across any on the net. So - I decided to make my own:

Feel free to download all the Twitter Icons and even the Illustrator file I used to design them. If you’d like the sidebar background image with the twitter icon I’m using, it’s available here. Since I’m not a graphic artist, I don’t mind where and how you use them or if you improve them. Hopefully, Twitter doesn’t either!
Get your own Twitter T-Shirt, too!

Thanks very much for sharing these icons. They were just what I was looking for to make a change from the ‘Twitter Boxes’ I have been using up until now.
I’ve added an icon already in the sidebar of one of my blogs and it looks good.
Thanks for sharing!
